The Rio Fast Delivery Pay Model
We know you have a lot of choices, which is why we’ve created a pay model that is designed to make earnings fair and transparent for every delivery. Below is more detailed information about how earnings work.
Base pay for Rio Fast Delivery is a combination of an hourly rate and a rate per delivery for each order. This may change at anytime
Rio Fast Delivery will reimburse you for the miles driven while you are in the process of delivering at a rate of $0.20 per mile. You will not be refunded for all the miles driven while on the clock. When you pick up and accept an order from any establishment to the time you deliver the order, the miles were driven during the delivery will be reimbursed at the $0.20 a mile rate.
Also, you will be reimbursed for tolls if the delivery requires you to cross a bridge with a toll in either direction. In central California, tolls are only at bridge points and in one direction. Thus, if you are not changed because you are going in a non-paying direction, but you are required to return to pick up a new order and are not on a delivery for the return, you will be reimbursed for the toll.
In this way deliveries that require Rio Fast Delivery to travel a longer distance and to take more time, will maintain a similar pay, then a shorter delivery. Thus, it’s essential to keep the Onfleet phone app all the time, when you are on the clock. Any disputes will be handled on a case by case bases, and Rio Fast Delivery will do its best to make reimbursements for unforeseen circumstances. These expense reimbursement rates are subject to change at any time.
Customers can leave a tip when they check out or after the delivery is completed. 100% of tips are yours on top of base pay and promotions. Please note that customers are also able to tip after the delivery if they chose not to do so at checkout, which may increase your total earnings per delivery
Rio Fast Delivery keep track hours, mileage driven, and bridge tolls using the Onfleet delivery software. You install an app on your phone, which tracks your location. Your location and travel information, delivery time, the route is taken stored in the Onfleet database. The information in the database is property of the Rio Fast Delivery and is used at the primary source for calculating hours worked, the number of deliveries made, mileage driven for deliveries and toll bridges crossed. This information is tallied every day by driver
